File Splitz! is a fast and efficient splitting and joining free tool that will help you share and transfer information stored in big files by cutting these into smaller pieces that can then be saved into floppy disks or sent by e-mail. The user can customize the size of the resulting files, either by selecting the total number of pieces, or by determining the maximum number of KB, MB, or GB in each file.
This free application can split any big file, regardless of its size, into as many pieces as needed. The processing speed for both functionalities can be easily adjusted by the user, allowing for 1x to 5x cutting and merging operations. The program appends a four-digit extension to the split files, and uses the first one (ending in .0000) to start the joining process. As an option, File Splitz! may delete all the pieces once the original file has been reconstructed.
File Splitz! does not generate any self-extracting executable file, so you need to have this piece of software installed in both the source and the destination systems. |
